My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit when we went for an anniversary dinner.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, which was fun and authentic.
The food was absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny spent. The portions are very generous and there's no chance you'll leave hungry.
The wait staff was on top of things given the busy night and at no point was my drink cup empty because of the frequent refills.
The downside is we spent an upwards of $100 with tip, but that's something you have to expect coming to a Japanese steakhouse and I felt it was money well spent.
Our chef was pretty quiet and didn't exhibit too much showmanship, but he got the food right, so no complaints. Will return here in the future. -

This restaurant has changed over the years. In the past, the management was friendly and accommodating. Now, they rush you in and rush out. Don't dare try to be seated close to closing time because you only get half the service (i.e. no sushi because the preparer is on break, nothing from the kitchen because they're all gone). The food is good but it's definitely lost is cultural flare and the manager is inflexible.
All In all, I would not recommend this location. -

Gollie Gee Willackers , an artistic dinner prepared tableside right before your eyes , and front row seats to the best show in town .... what more could one ask for ?
From the moment That I crossed the little glass bridge located at the inside entry of the building and watched the koi playfully Swimming beneath my feet , I knew That the evening would provide something special .
The appropriately decorated lobby of the Sancus Blvd location of the House Of Japan , with its etched glass panels showcasing a variety of oriental designs gives way to a nice little bar area where patrons without dinner reservations can sit and sip a bit of Sake while awaiting their turn at bat.
While the holding area is not quite along the lines of a Japanese sunakku , it is still pleasant enough , offering Several foo foo drink combinations in addition to sapporo , asahi , suntory and Kirin beers
And a selection of branded Japanese liquors .
Once you are finally escorted to the inside dining room , you are seated at
a u-shaped combination dining table / cooking Grille which accommodates seating for eight diners . ( Should you not have eight people in your party , the hostess will fill in the empty spaces with other diners )
You are then presented with a hot hand towel , Your dinner orders are taken , and then to keep you busy while you await the arrival of your personal chef , you are served your drink preference , and given a cup of mushroom soup , followed by a tidy little lip smacking oriental salad .
Within about 10 minutes , and with little fanfare
Your grill person arrives , pushing a cart loaded with raw meat , chicken and fish items , a mound of butter , various oils and sauces , a mountain of white rice , bowls of various veggies , sweet onions and other Ingredients .
It is then that the magical performance begins !
Amidst the clatter of ginsu cutlery and various metal cooking utensils , the chef turns musical conductor , creating an overture of sound by banging , clanging , sliding , and thumping various
Spatulas and braising forks until your ears are bathed in cacophony of metered Rhythm .
Then amongst flaming fires , flying eggs , catapulting shrimp tails , tumbling shakers and dancing pieces of diced vegetables , your individual meals magically appear And are ceremoniously plated with magnificent fanfare , and positioned directly in front of you .... and .... then by Crackee .... you realize that amidst in what had appeared as a fascinating bit of orchestrated confusion , the chef got everyone's orders exactly right !
So You sit there , in front of your plate of steaming
Goodies , blinking your eyes , swearing that you have just witnessed a miniature version of the cirque du soleil .
The meal is completed by a scoop of strawberry
Ice cream served in a tiny metal bowl .. not really a
Sufoto Kurimu But still a pleasant palate cleanser
What a treat this is , and certainly worthy of my
Rating of five well earned stars , with added kudos
To our delightful and entertaining chef !
To close things out , I might add that , the facility is ultra clean , drink refills are prompt , the wait staff cordial and efficient and the service commendable ,
For a delightful and entertaining evening out , by all means do treat yourself to this magical dining experience ..... you won't regret it !
So , as they say in Japan .....

Love this place! I go every time I am back in town. I recommend a hibachi meal for dinner as it includes a soup and salad to start and then the meal includes whatever meat (or noodles) you choose, rice (white or fried), vegetables, and sprouts. I recommend the hibachi shrimp with egg yolk sauce (don't ask, just order). If you're looking for a laugh, you can pay for a birthday surprise that involves a drum, pineapple and picture. The only downside is that sometimes they try to fit too many people at one table which can get uncomfortable.

This is my favorite Hibachi to go to. The food is always great and they have some of the best hibachi chef's I've seen. If I had to give a down side at all it would be the wait time. You can almost always plan on a 30min wait and we have waited for as long as an hour. But the wait is not because of inefficiencies there is just that many people that want to eat here. One of my favorite dishes is the hibachi scallops with egg yolk sauce. The sauce is very unique and not for everyone but it's a must try. Portions are large you can plan on getting a to go box.
